Webster's Dictionary defines a cult as a formal religious respect or awe inspired by the dignity, wisdom, dedication, or talent of a person; a system of religious beliefs and ritual. Unfortunately, in this Age of Information, many would-be disciples, when offered the opportunity to become a member of the Body of Christ, find that the timeless wisdom of God is forfeited for the desires and traditions of (wo)men.
The "church" is then left with three options:
Throughout this site, you we will be challenged in ways unlike ever before! You We will be presented with Biblical, and not cultural understanding of what the Creator designated for your our lives. You We will go through the history of the church as well as the politics of today, to understand how you we have gotten to this point. And, hopefully, you we will become the salt and light that the Son of God taught us to be.
This test contains five simple multiple choice questions that anyone can answer. I'd suggest you write down your answers in a journal so you can come back later and see if your beliefs have changed. After you answer the questions, continue reading to see how to proceed.

I am quite sure that you probably picked up the pattern in the answers to this little test. Hopefully, that didn't sway your results. I also hope that you answered them honestly, that is, that you chose the answer that you truly believe and practice rather than the "right" answer. Additionally, there are possibly a thousand different options to complete such a questions that I did not list.
For those who want the "label" based on your answers found on most internet quizzes here they are:
Most will put you into two categories:
But for me, I want to know if you are:
It is written in the Bible, Acts 11: 26b "So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch." What was written in that time, I doubt could be written of the church of today. What is taught and seen of that time gave the disciples the name of "Christian", and it is what people of every nation yearned for - not only of that day but of today as well.
That is why I am looking for teachable people. Jesus did not say "make a church", "make converts", or many other misconceived traditions that have left the church with spot and wrinkle. He said, "Make Disciples of All Nations", which includes the churched and unchurched, the black the white, the pretty and pretty ugly.
I know there are those who are comfortable in their pews - I'm not sent for you! It's those who are tired of the status quo, those who realize that the putrid lukewarm and tainted speeches that depend on the worship of sin and sinners is not what the church was meant for. I call out to those in the streets and the hedges, denied the wisdom and glory of the Lord to come to the table. I pray that hearts are fired up in God's wisdom, lest their masks of righteousness melt to reveal the hearts of coal!
Before I start "preaching", I suggest you read the standards for biblical discussion and discernment (I had to throw some churchy words in there), and when you are ready, open, and teachable we can begin to re-establish discipleship worthy of the name of "Christian" - else remain a divided establishment of men and women that no soul will see God in.
