Many CAD systems allow for the creation of gear geometry, rack and pinion gears, etc., but there are exceptions.

This program allows calculating the tooth geometry for creating perfectly meshed gears. Only two values are used for the calculation: the number of teeth on the gear and the pitch diameter.
