The pipe fitting, with an internal diameter of only 3 mm and PLA wall material, is designed for operation under 50 Bar pressure. Theoretically, this structure can withstand the weight of an average teenager without consequences.
With the addition of ribs to increase strength, the permissible pressure will increase by more than 35% to 68 Bar.
However, the deformation, or more precisely, the bending of the pipe fitting due to the internal pressure of liquid or gas, remained at a similar level, measuring 0.15 mm.
