Once the Supervisor has completed the Performance Plan, this step will immediately trigger in the ePerformance system. If this has not occurred, the Supervisor did not complete the Performance Plan. NOTIFY THE SUPERVISOR to complete Task 1.
1. Log in to ePerformance.
2. In Action Items, click Item with the description "Next Level Supervisor Approval".
3. Review the plan for accuracy and consistency--ensure there is consistency in goals across similar positions and the individual goals directly or indirectly relate to the unit’s strategic goals in the current cycle.
4. Add any comments.
5. Click:
Approve to move the plan forward, which can only be undone by an HR administrator, or
Return to send it back to the Supervisor for revision, including instructions in the Comment box.
Upon approval, the Performance Plan will return to the Supervisor to have a Performance Plan meeting with their employee.
If you need to update or correct information in your employee’s Performance Plan, contact Jennifer Feth at jmfeth@uncg.edu or ext. 44508 to request that the action be put back into your queue for revision.
