Generative AI (genAI) is a broad label describing any type of artificial intelligence (AI)

that can produce new text, images, video, or audio clips George, (2023)

Technically, this type of AI learns patterns from training data and generates new, unique outputs with the same statistical properties.

Generative Ai can create or generate new content and ideas and turn text inputs in an image Okebukola (2024). AI refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that previously required human intelligence. Typically, such tasks involve perception, logical reasoning, decision-making, and natural language understanding (NLU).  

 How do you use machine learning:

Machine learning was found by Arthur Samuel in 1951. It gets computer to learn from data and transfers information just like human being. According to Okebukola (2024), Generative AI creates the process through which machine learns or get data from human and mimic the problem facilities of humans as they carry out tasks.

Types of ML:

Supervised, Unsupervised and Semin-supervised

• Machine learning is a subset of AI that focuses on discriminative tasks. It involves the development of algorithms that enable computers to make predictions or decisions based on data without being explicitly programmed how to do so. 

•  Generative AI is a subset of machine learning (ML) that focuses on creating new data samples that resemble real-world data. 

How does Generative AI Function?

Generative AI starts with a prompt that could be in the form of a text, an image, a video, a design, musical notes, or any input that the AI system can process. Various AI algorithms then return new content in response to the prompt. Content can include essays, solutions to problems, or realistic fakes created from pictures or audio of a person.
