Disclaimer: This is not an inclusive list of student projects. Project-based team learning is also an integral part of our REU site plan. Today’s engineers in industry typically work in interdisciplinary teams to solve problems and develop products. The objective and scope of each seed project is carefully designed, considering the 10-week time limit and the abilities of undergraduate students at this stage of their academic careers. It is important to note that some of these projects can be open-ended. The overall goal is to prepare students to solve real-world renewable energy-related problems collaboratively so that they are ready to take on the challenges they will face after completion of the 10-week training.
