Umami Account Cancellation Agreement

Before canceling your Umami account, you should carefully read, understand, and agree to this Account Cancellation Agreement (the "Agreement").

You can initiate an account deletion request through two primary methods:

After your account is cancelled, Umami will cease providing all surplus food rescue services to you.

1. Conditions for Cancellation

To cancel your account, the following conditions must be met simultaneously:

(1) No Arrears: There are no outstanding debts or arrears in the account.
(2) No Pending Orders: There are no active "Surprise Bag" reservations, outstanding orders, or unpaid services.
(3) No Disputes: There are no active disputes, complaints, or reports involving the account.
(4) Account Standing: The account must be in a normal state without restricted records or bans.

2. Termination Rights

During the cancellation process, if your Umami account becomes involved in disputes—including but not limited to food safety complaints, merchant reports, litigation, or investigations by relevant authorities—Umami reserves the right to terminate or pause the cancellation process until the matter is resolved.

3. Responsibility

You confirm that you have the legal right to cancel the account and that doing so does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. You shall be responsible for any disputes arising from this cancellation.

Pre-Deletion Audit: Before requesting cancellation, the user is responsible for ensuring they have utilized any desired coupons or promotional offers. Umami will not offer compensation for "missed savings" resulting from the user's decision to delete their account.

4. Irreversibility

You understand and agree that once the account is cancelled, it cannot be recovered. We cannot restore previous services, personal data, or transaction history after deletion.
