Curriculum

SLB Autis Laboratorium follows the national curriculum (Merdeka Curriculum) while also incorporating an individualized approach based on the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum model in Indonesia that aims to improve the quality of learning and student character. It was launched in 2022 and approved as the National Curriculum in 2024. The curriculum is designed to address the needs of the digital era and global challenges.

Teaching Plan

In the teaching plan, my cooperating teacher showed me the modul ajar (Teaching Module), which includes the student profiles, objectives, resources, and activities to be provided. The content primarily focuses on the topic itself. My cooperating teacher suggested that I use a lesson plan similar to those used in the Philippines. To balance this suggestion, I decided to create both a teaching module and a lesson plan. The lesson plan serves as my guide for the flow of the discussion while I'm having my demo-teaching, while the teaching module provides more detailed information on the topics.
