Vibration tuning

Tips for upgraded vibration motor

If you received your adapter after 18.12.2022 your adapter will have built-in latest vibration motor upgrade. What that means is that you will benefit from much stronger vibrations than on regular Quest 2 motor.

Since neither the Quest 2 controller nor ETT game has been optimised to use it by default you may realise that at default game's settings (or as everyone else has them usually maxed!) it may be a bit "noisy".

For the best experience I suggest adjusting vibration options in ETT as following:

These can be found in "Tree Menu" >  Global Haptics.

Set Haptic Time Factor to something between: 0.5 - 0.7

Set Haptics Power to your preference (probably between): 3 - 5(max).

New UI

New UI?!? No problem. Similar settings can be found in the new user interface. My Haptics settings for new UI are as follows:

These can be found in Advanced MenuController Settings

Haptic Time Factor: 55

Haptics Power : 205

You can use these are starting point and tune according to your needs.
