What is a U11 and U11e?
The U11 is one of our exclusive hand crafted cars. Each Mini is numbered with its own unique serial number. Generally 150-160bhp with all our exclusive products, neatly installed, and retaining that excellent Mini handling, geometry and weight.
Can you keep a stock Mini Front End or does it need an extension?

Our kit was designed to fit Right Hand Drive or Left Hand Drive Classic Minis with a stock steel front and minimal body altercations. You simply need to remove the inner wings. No need or requirement to have a flip front. We prefer to keep a steel front on our conversions.
Does it retain factory Mini Suspension?

The UVD Front Subframe retains the stock rubber cone suspension, hi-los, and top arms. We highly recommend installing adjustable lower arms and adjustable front tie bars. Our kit keeps the steering rack in its stock location. We also recommend installing a Sportpack Steering Rack or KAD limiters to limit steering as to not contact the radiator on full lock.
What engine do we use for the Honda Conversion?
What engine do we use for the Honda Conversion?
In our builds we generally use a 96 to 2000 Honda D16y8 Sohc Engine with VTEC. You can use D15 or D16 engines with our subframe kit. Honda D16y7, D16y8, and D16z6 engines are readily available in the USA. We generally see about 145-160bhp out of our engine package with our supporting products.
