Squirrel Box

In 1901, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign brought gray squirrels to the campus. In 2024, the Honors House celebrated them with a house. 

The idea may have seemed weird, but it quickly brought smiles to everyone. When we built the squirrel box, we didn’t just build a box; we invited curiosity, conversation, and connection.
