The University of Iowa Pre-PA Club is here to inform students about the Physician Assistant (PA) profession. The Pre-PA Club will provide students with resources to be successful in the academic, career/professional, and volunteer aspects of their career path. Our goal is to help members be successful in getting into a PA Program of their choice!
At these meetings, you can expect to interact with active PA's, PA student panels, learn about CASPA and various forms of standardized testing for PA school, find out professional tips/advice for interviews and beyond, and interact with PA program representatives from both the University of Iowa as well as other PA programs.Â
PA's (physician associates/physician assistants) are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every specialty and setting.
Trusted, rigorously educated and trained healthcare professionals, PAs are dedicated to expanding access to care and transforming health and wellness through patient-centered, team-based medical practice. (AAPA)
