FALL SEMESTER 2023
This season we will be attending a few events around campus including the Homecoming Parade and a few Hawk Visits! DM us on Instagram or email us at uiowacolorguard@gmail.com for more information about when these events will be happening! Later in the season, we will have a more competitive guard who will then attend competitions that are unknown at the moment. We are looking forward to this year's team!
SOCIAL EVENTS
Our social events will all be decided by our Events Director, Baylie. As long as you are in the GroupMe, you will be able to hear about our events to attend and we also post about them on Instagram as well! Our performances will be announced on Instagram so look out for updates on both of our socials. The links are down below!
EQUIPMENT
If you are new and don't have equipment, that is totally okay! We should have enough flags for everyone to spin. If you want to take a pole out, make sure to contact our President, Emily, and she will check out a flag to you. If you want your own practice flag, here is a list of some websites to buy one as well as Amazon is another good place to get a flag as well. If you are interested in doing weapon like saber or rifle, you are required to buy your own. We do not have many people doing saber but if you are interested, let us know. Both weapons can be also purchased on the links below and on Amazon.
