Meet our President: Hi! My name is Emily Guthmiller (She/Her) and I am the President. I am a senior majoring in Integrative Biology on the pre-veterinary track. I am from both Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and Lincoln, Nebraska. I have been in guard for 7 years now. My favorite part of being in color guard is getting to create a safe space for movement and expression and to make bonds that join us together as a family.

Meet our Vice President: My name is Eva Hayes (She/Her) and I am the Vice President. I am a junior with a Biomedical Engineering Major with a Pre-Med add-on. I'm from Montrose, Iowa and I've been in guard for 7 years. My favorite part of guard is that feeling when you FINALLY master a trick or technique you have been working on for a while.

Meet our Treasurer and one of our coaches: Hi! My name is Rylee Reid (She/Her) and I am the Treasurer of the Iowa color guard club as well as a flag and rifle coach. I am a junior majoring in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and I am starting as a P1 in the College of Pharmacy this fall. I am from Marion, Iowa and I have been involved in color guard for 7 years. My favorite part of guard is competing because I love to see how everything comes together :)

I'm from Peoria, Illinois and I've been in color guard for 7 years! My favorite part of guard is when I learn a new toss and I'm able to throw it and catch it perfectly. It's the best feeling.

My favorite part of guard is I love to spin with my friends and to make memories with them throughout the season, especially during competitions!

I would say my favorite part of color guard is being able to be a part of such a supportive group of people and make new friends!
