Failure to cancel your appointment will count as a no show. Accruing No Shows will result in a limited ban from reserving time with equipment in the Fab Lab. Please see more information regarding the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy on the FabLab Policy Page

UIC ID
Material
Prepared Illustrator file
Cutting Utensil (optional)
Blue Tape (optional) but necessary more often than not.
Present UIC ID to the front desk. Remember you must be authorized every semester to beable to utilize the facility.
You must be CUTTING within 15 minutes of the start of your session. If you do not start using your appointment within 15 minutes of its start time, you may lose your entire time slot to a student on the Waiting List (and it will count as a No-Show). This means you must have your file completed and your materials cut down prior to your start time, so it is a good idea to arrive 15 minutes before your time begins to make sure you are ready to begin on time.
You must monitor the laser cutter at all times during your appointment. You are not allowed to leave your laser job unattended while the machine is running
