Principal investigator
Dr. Lucas Carr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Physiology, Director of the Behavioral Medicine Laboratory and the Founding Director of the Community Health Collaborative at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Carr's research and teaching interests focus on implementing and testing systems for embedding preventive health services into primary care while also providing students experiential learning opportunities.
Graduate Students
Jenna Springer is a first year masters graduate student. Jenna received a B.A. in Health Promotion and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Iowa. She is interested in testing health interventions to promote physical activity, sustainable behavior change, and quality of life.
Garrett Steinbrink will be a first year doctoral student. Garrett received his masters degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Garrett is interested in learning about the effects of physical activity on a variety of health and exercise performance outcomes.
