Dr. Lucas Carr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Physiology, Director of the Behavioral Medicine Laboratory and Founding Director of the Community Health Collaborative. Dr. Carr's research and teaching interests focus on implementing and testing systems for embedding preventive health services into primary care while also providing students experiential learning opportunities.
Garrett is a 2nd year doctoral student. Garrett received a MS from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is interested in the joint associations between physical activity and various health outcomes.
Jenna is a first year doctoral student. Jenna received a B.A. in Health Promotion, a B.S. in Psychology, and a MS in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa. She is interested in testing health interventions to promote sustainable behavior change, and quality of life.
Leah is a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Human Physiology. Leah is leading a project designed to explore provider and patient experiences with our Exercise is Medicine program.
