Dr. Lucas Carr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology, Director of the Behavioral Medicine Laboratory and Founding Director of the Community Health Collaborative. Dr. Carr's research and teaching interests focus on planning, implementing and evaluating system-level solutions into primary care that promote preventive lifestyle behaviors of patients and community members in need.
Garrett is a 2nd year doctoral student. Garrett received a MS from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Garrett received an AHA Predoctoral Fellowship focused on developing and testing a muscle strength screening tool for the clinical setting.
Jenna is a first year doctoral student. Jenna received a B.A. in Health Promotion, a B.S. in Psychology, and a MS in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa. She is interested in testing health interventions to promote sustainable behavior change, and quality of life.
Cael Klinkenborg is a 3rd year Human Physiology student. Cael received an ICRU Independent Undergraduate Research Fellowship which will focus on problem-solving barriers to help patients connect with local health coaches.
