Teaching Assistants (TA):
Often former or graduate students who know the class well. You may or may not see them at all during your classes, but they are frequently in charge of grading and have a well rounded understanding of the course. Typically less daunting than approaching the professor. Check the course syllabus for their office hours or email to schedule one with them!
Professors:
Most professors are quite approachable. They typically have open office hours listed on their syllabus. Otherwise email your professor for a more suitable time. Go having already reviewed content and questions prepared!
