About us

UFMBQ, formerly PinoyMTBiker Qatar, is the leading umbrella organization uniting Filipino Mountain Biking and cycling enthusiasts in the State of Qatar. Our mission is to promote sportsmanship, healthy competitions, and camaraderie in the exciting world of mountain biking.

Showcasing our dedication to the sport, UFMBQ has been actively organizing mountain bike events since 2012. In 2014, UFMBQ was officially established as a non-profit, sports-centric mountain bike organization duly recognized and registered at the Embassy of the Philippines in Doha, holding Certificate of Recognition No. 147-2014. 

Notably, UFMBQ is a recognized cycling organization by the governing body for cycling sports in the State of Qatar, the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation.  Since our formal establishment in 2014, we have continued to be at the forefront, organizing grassroots and community-level Mountain Bike races and events catering to the cycling community. Our commitment extends beyond the sport, as we contribute support and volunteers to various sporting events hosted in Qatar.
