National Sports Day education city - mtb fun race & fun ride

Qatar Foundation Community Outreach and Initiatives Department, in collaboration with the United Filipino Mountain Bikers Qatar and the Qatar Cycling Federation, is organizing the grand opening of the Education City Mountain Bike Trail in celebration of the Qatar National Sports Day on February 13, 2024. The event will feature a Fun MTB Race and a Fun Ride.

Join us for a fun morning of cycling, camaraderie, and celebration as we inaugurate this new and exciting 5-kilometer loop mtb trail built by the Qatar Foundation. This event is open to all mountain bikers from various communities.

MTB TRAIL GRAND OPENING & ACTIVITIES
- Riders Check-in: 06:30 AM
- Welcome and Introduction: 07:30 AM
- Photo Ops: 07:45 AM
- MTB Fun Race Start (45 minutes): 08:00 AM
- Medal Ceremony: 09:15 AM
- Open Fun Ride Start: 09:30 AM

WHAT TO BRING

Mountain Bike in Good Condition
- Please bring your own bike, there are NO bike rental facilities on site
- Ensure your bike is in good condition as there is NO guarantee that a bike mechanic will be available on site.
Helmet
Hydration Pack or Water Bottle
- Drinking Water Refill is available on site (self-service). No Bottled Water will be served.
Comfortable Riding Gear
Sunscreen
Positive Energy and Enthusiasm!

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Helmets are mandatory for all participants while riding their bikes.
Follow trail etiquette and respect fellow riders.
Stay on designated paths to protect the natural environment.
In case of emergencies, contact event organizers or emergency services.

Participation in the MTB race is free of charge. All participants must register online before the event.
