A UFMBQ SUMMER SPECIAL FUN RACE
"Binyag" is a Filipino term for baptism or initiation- this race is a special event to soft-open and ride the newly built "New Kubol Trail", handcrafted by Team Kubol.
This will be a 1.5-hour Mini Endurance Race on a MTB-specific trail, held during late afternoon into early evening. The event is intended to be simple, fun, and community-centered, with no monetary prizes.
5:00 PM - Sign On Opens: Bib Number and Timing Chip Collection
6:30 PM - Start of Mini-Endurance MTB Race
7:55 PM - Cut-off for starting a new lap
8:00 PM - Official End of Race (1.5 Hours Completed)
8:15 PM - Cut-off Time: Riders inside trail must return to venue
8:30 PM - Awarding Ceremony
Format: 1.5-Hour mini-endurance MTB race
Each rider must complete as many laps as possible within 1.5 hours
Riders who pass the lap checkpoint after 7:55 PM will not be allowed to start another lap and arrival after this time will be considered as finished.
Riders still inside the trail by 8:15 PM will be called back to the venue and Laps after this time will not be counted.
Final lap count will be based on laps completed by 8:15 PM

The race is open to anyone, as long as he/she is competing on a Mountain Bike, and as long as he/she belongs to the age groups mentioned in the category section below.
Newbie/Beginner Mountain Bikers should consider testing the trail before registering for this race.
Mountain Bike only (Hardtail or Full Suspension allowed, E-Bike NOT allowed).
Front and Rear Bike Lights are Mandatory.
Riders without proper lights will not be allowed to race.
Helmet requred at all times while riding. Not wearing helmet while riding will result to Disqualification.
Race numbers MUST be attached to the Handlebar and must be visible at all times when racing.
Stay hydrated, bring enough hydration (water, electrolytes drinks, etc.) to last the race. there will bo NO water sponsor for this race.

Lap Distance: 7.5 KM
The trail is newly built which is mostly flats but still includes flowy sections, turns, and a few natural obstacles.
Trail Surface: Flat, Compact dirt, packed sand, gravel, and loose rocks.
Marshals and signs will be placed for guidance

Podium recognition for Top 3 per category
No monetary prizes - this is a community fun race
Riders completing the most laps within the time limit will be honored
special shout-outs for youngest and olders finisher
This race is conducted in the spirit of fun, community, and safe competition.
Please race safely, there will be NO ambulance on site. First Aid Kit will be available at the venue area.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the event schedule in case of unexpected weather, trail issues, or safety concerns
All participants must follow instructions from marshals and race officials
Disrespectful behavior towards trail (littering), volunteers, or fellow riders will result in disqualification.Â

By registering and participating in the race, all riders acknowledge that:
They are participating at their own risk and understand the inherent dangers associated with mountain bikeing and night racing.
The organizers and volunteers will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred before, during, or after the event.
All participants are responsible for ensuring that their bicycles are in safe and working condition, and that they are physically fit for the challenge.
There are no Ambulance on site during the race. There will be first aid station at the start. We will call 999 if there is a medical emergency during the race.
Helmets, front and rear lights, and appropriate safety gears are mandatory and must be worn at all times while on the course.
Riders must folllow the instructions of race marshals and respect all trail users, fellow participants, and event staff.
The organizers resevre the right to modify, cancel, or delay the race in the interest of participant safety due to weather conditions, trail hazards, or other unforeseen circumstances.
