INFO (30.04.2021): The 5th Conference on 'Urban e-Planning' will take place online - Zoom Platform

● Lisbon is well served by its international airport, renamed "Airport Humberto Delgado" in 2016. Transport links to and from the airport are well covered by either the metro system, bus or by taxi.

● In the Lisbon metro a single journey costs 1,31 Euros (there are several options, see below). Travel time, including change of line, is approximately 25 minutes between city centre (downtown) and the main University Campus (conference venue) and 35 min between the airport and the University Campus (conference venue), including change of line. The metro signage on the stations are in Portuguese and English.

Taxi fares from the Lisbon Airport to the University Campus (conference venue) are on average approximately 10 Euros. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes to cover approx. 5 km.

Taxi fares between the University Campus (conference venue) and the city centre (downtown) are approximately 10 to 15 Euros. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes to cover approx. 6 km.

Taxi extra charges

● extra charge of 3.90 Euros per trip in the period 22:00-06:00;

● extra charge for baggage carried on the back side of the car (1.60 Euros for all baggage)

Metro & Bus Single Ticket: 1 ticket valid for one journey in the entire metro and bus networks during 1 hour = 1,45 Euros

Metro & Bus Daily Ticket: valid for 24 hours after first validation = 6,30 Euros

Zapping Card: 1 journey in the Metro network = 1,31 Euros
