I enjoy experimenting with my telescope optics and imaging setups as a way to explore instrumentation and precision alignment. This hobby allows me to combine technical understanding with visual creativity.
Telescope Model: Sky-Watcher Heritage 130P – a 130 mm f/5 Newtonian reflector with a 650 mm focal length, collapsible dobsonian, parabolic primary mirror.
I enjoy playing cricket, which keeps me active and helps build teamwork and focus outside of research. In the Bangladesh Student Association (BSA) Cricket Tournament 2025 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, our team finished as the runner-up, and I ranked as the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
I had the honor of performing on the amphitheater stage at the 9th Annual Knox Asian Festival in Knoxville, a vibrant celebration of Asian cultures, traditions and artistry. Held at World’s Fair Park, this lively event featured music, dance, food, and interactive experiences from across Asia, drawing a large and diverse crowd. It was an unforgettable opportunity to share my piece among many talented artists and to connect with the East Tennessee community through cultural expression.
AI Tennessee Initiative Seed Funds Workshop, Scriber Role (Fall 2023)
I worked as a student scriber for the AI Tennessee Initiative Seed Funds Workshop held on November 14, 2023, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The event, organized by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development (ORIED), brought together faculty and researchers from various disciplines to discuss AI-driven research priorities and collaboration opportunities across Tennessee. My responsibility was to document and summarize key insights from the panel discussions, which were later compiled and shared with the university community as an official summary report.
