We are all so excited that you are considering AΩE to be part of your experience at the University of Delaware. Before we start learning more about you through the recruitment process, I wanted to tell you more about us as an organization.

Alpha Omega Epsilon is a sorority for women in engineering and technical science, although we do not have restrictions on what major a student must be in to join. We are a professional and a social sorority, and we foster our bonds of sisterhood through various types of events, from networking with alumni and meeting with potential employers to sister bonfire nights and trips to the beach. Our chapter is a space where we are constantly pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves, whether that is socially, professionally, or academically.

If you’re feeling nervous or unsure about recruitment, I want to reassure you that going through with recruitment is always a good decision. Whether or not AΩE is for you, the recruitment process is a way to meet people with similar interests, goals, and aspirations. I can tell you with certainty that rushing AΩE was the best decision I made in my time here at UD. Three years ago, I arrived at UD and did not know a single soul on campus. Rushing AΩE helped me meet so many people who are now my biggest inspirations and my best friends. The sisters of AΩE constantly push me to be a better person and student, and I am so grateful for every single one of them, every single day. I hope that your recruitment experience is as fruitful as mine was, and if AΩE ends up being the place for you, I know you will find a home away from home the same way I did.
