GIFTS

You may want to take gifts for our Kenyan dadas and for students.

• Menstrual cups Young women regularly miss a week of school each month due when they have their period and many drop out of school simply because they've missed so much time. The students and teachers in our schools are enthusiastically using menstrual cups and we're committed to taking 1000 each year. Here is the flyer that Chiara used to raise money for cups.
• We can also select items from this registry that Carol put together. You can share this registry with friends and colleagues who want to send a donation also.
• When we visit with parents/grandparents and other community members, we will gift “Love baskets.” This is a basket of food staples and cooking oil that can be assembled for us in Kenya. These are very inexpensive for us and we’ll take up a collection in Nairobi so that we can gift our new friends something useful.
