Drones can be used to transport food, packages and other goods . In the health-care field, ambulance drones can deliver medicines, immunizations, and blood samples, into and out of unreachable places. They can rapidly transport medical instruments in the crucial few minutes after cardiac arrests. They can also include live video streaming services allowing paramedics to remotely observe and instruct on-scene individuals on how to use the medical instruments. In July 2015, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved the first delivery of medical supplies using drone at Wise, Virginia . With the rapid demise of snail mail and the massive growth of e-Commerce, postal companies have been forced to find new methods to expand beyond their traditional mail delivery business models. Different postal companies have undertaken various drone trials to test the feasibility and profitability of drone delivery services. In this section, we present the drone-based goods delivery system and its challenges.
