What will we be doing? A community-wide beach cleanup, please come celebrate Global Volunteer Month with us and maintain Santa Cruz Main Beach beautiful! There also would be $50 raffle with two winners and other prizes too!

Are you interested in volunteering with Food Not Bombs? UCSC MEDLIFE is volunteering with them on Saturday, April 25th . Since this is a food distribution service we are seeking to divide the roles in two shifts.
Shifts:
1. Set up/Food distribution: 11:00 am- 2:30 pm
2. Clean-up: 2:30pm-4pm

On Sunday, Monday April 6th, we hosted our first SLT Alumni Panel. We wanted to highlight the importance of volunteering with MEDLIFE. And what betetr way then to our our amazing volunteers share their stories and experiences from their Spring SLT. We thank all those that showed up to learn about MEDLIFE and the SLT, we're so grateful for our panelists as well.
This spring break 26 of our general body members, alongside 2 executive board members attended our Spring SLT. We operated four mobile clinics across four different communities, serving a total of 271 patients. During these clinics, we provided 222 medical consultations, 90 dental consultations, 13 PAP exams, and 47 breast exams, along with 8 follow-up patient visits. In addition, we completed one staircase development project over four days in Vallecito de la Era – Ñaña, benefiting approximately 500 community members.
