Demi Bruck received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Michigan State University in 2009. In 2011, Demi joined the PITCH Lab as a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Cincinnati. After receiving her Master's degree in psychology in 2013, Demi completed an APA-accredited, pre-doctoral internship at Hawthorn Center and received her Ph.D. in August 2017. Dr. Bruck currently serves as the postdoctoral fellow at Hawthorn Center, a State of Michigan psychiatric hospital which provides intensive inpatient services to children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 18 years. Dr. Bruck's interests and expertise lie in providing evidence-based, patient centered interventions to children and adolescents presenting with acute psychiatric needs. Dr. Bruck is integrative in her approach to therapy, but often pulls from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
