Angel is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Cincinnati. He is recipient of the University of Cincinnati Albert C. Yates Fellowship. He completed his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Born in Guatemala, Angel's research interests include advancing the health of immigrant and Spanish-speaking communities through mixed-methods and community engaged research. Additionally, Angel is interested in the cultural and liguistic tailoring of interventions to mitigate health disparities.Â
Angel is interested in providing clinical services in English and Spanish within healthcare settings.
