By the Winter of the first year, Scholars are expected to conduct a main research project committee meeting, or “protocol meeting.” The protocol project process involves organizing a multidisciplinary research team, meeting with community and policy advisory board members, developing a research protocol and IRB application and organizing a research protocol committee meeting.
The Protocol Meeting is a program requirement for first year scholars in late Fall and Winter. For more information, please see the NCSP Program Manual.
1. A range of all possible dates and times you will be available for the meeting:
2. A list of your Protocol Committee Members that includes:
The protocol meeting is chaired (faciliated) by the main mentor. It is important that the Scholar meet with the main mentor to review these protocol proposals/meeting procedures early in the protocol writing process and before the meeting. A committee member can fulfill more than one "category" listed above.
*Please also ensure that all members on your committee are informed on what a Protocol Meeting is and are aware that they will be on your committee before sending me their contact information.
As always, if you have any questions regarding this meeting, we are more than happy to meet with you and address your inquiries/concerns. Thank you!
