Building Open Hours

Building public open hours are 7 AM – 7 PM. Before 7 AM and after 7 PM, an after-hours access card is required to use the elevators. Provide a business justification to staff to NCSP request an after-hours access card.

ENTERING & EXITING THE BUILDING

Card readers at the entrance of each suite allow you to enter with your UCLA Health System badge. There is also an intercom that will buzz selected desks within the suite, which allows opening the door with a touch of a button on the phone. Please be sure to have your UCLA Health System badge with you at all times when entering and exiting the suite

Important Reminders:

1. All suite doors will be closed and locked at all times. Our card reader system will allow you to enter GIM & HSR Suites 710, 850, 900 and 1820. To enter the suite, tap your UCLA Health System Card at the card reader (black square with a red dot on the wall plate).
2. Do not use a key! Using a suite key will trigger a “forced entry” requiring UCLA security to respond accordingly.
3. Do not leave the door open. This triggers the security protocol because the door is not secured correctly. Additionally, it is against fire code to leave the door to the main corridors open. Doors should not be propped open.
4. Remember to bring your badge anytime you leave the Suite (like going to the bathroom) so you can get back into the Suite.
5. If you have a meeting with various guests, please notify GIM & HSR Reception a week in advance of the event and provide the meeting name. Tell your guests to indicate the meeting name and their name when prompted by the intercom for entry.

PARKING FOR GUESTS

NCSP does not have parking privileges at 1100 Glendon Ave.

Parking permits for guests of UCLA at UCLA Parking Lots. Parking Lot 18, 32, and 36 are the closest lots to our office. Please request parking permits from the Program Coordinator at least 1 week in advance of your event.

CONNECTING TO WiFi

Wifi is active at 1100 Glendon Suite 710, 850, 900, and 1820.

UCLA Health Secure – use AD/Mednet credentials; Medguest – agree to on-line agreement.
