Who We Are

We are a group of teacher educators who teach methods courses with a variety of roles -- professors, researchers, graduate students -- and expertise that spans elementary literacy and mathematics.

While the individuals who participate in this work may vary year-to-year, for many years we have chosen to leverage the power of collaboration to reflect upon and refine our practice in order to better meet the needs of preparing preservice candidates to teach in and transform local schools. We continue to learn from each other, from our students, and from children, making our work together a dynamic and evolving practice.

As we share about the work that we do, we emphasize that this work is not our own. Our collective work on this project has been shaped by countless colleagues and collaborators. See References.
