UCD EGSA Field Safety Committee

The FSC strives to improve access to field safety resources by offering relevant trainings, panels, and skillshares; facilitating student collaboration on safety initiatives; and promoting a broader "safety culture," with emphasis on inclusivity for students of all backgrounds engaging in field work. Members of the committee work primarily within the GGE, with opportunities for outreach and collaboration with other graduate groups.

The purpose of this website is to address a lot of FAQ's we get when talking with graduate students. While not exhaustive, we hope it provides insights and inspiration for improving field safety culture at UC Davis.
