Online Mandatory Training

You will begin your required training after your start date on your offer letter. Please complete the training within 30 days of your start date. 

1. ASU Information Security Training  2025 —duration 40 minutes 

Learn how to compute safely while working at ASU.  

• • This course is taken annually—release update expected by mid-April. 

  • All ASU Faculty, Staff, and student workers must take this training within the first month of employment and annually thereafter.

2. ASU - Your Duty to Report —duration 15 minutes

What would you do if you witnessed unwanted sexual contact on campus? Start here for all the info. 

• • All employees are required to take this course once.

3.  EHS Fire Safety Annual Training 2025—duration 45 minutes

Know what to do if your work site catches fire!  

• • This course is taken yearly, based on your hire date.

4. Preventing Harassment & Discrimination (non-supervisor)—duration 90 minutes that can be completed in intervals. Information includes how to identify and prevent prohibited behavior and where and how to report concerns.  

• This course is taken every three years, starting in April 2020.  

5. Seeds of Sustainability Training    

This self-paced online program for ASU faculty, staff, and student employees provides an easy-to-understand introduction to fundamental sustainability concepts and how ASU implements them.
