Completing the I-9 is a two-step process.
To comply with federal law and university policy, all new employees must complete their work authorization I-9 form no later than three business days from their hire date.
Complete Form I-9 via Equifax Section 1 and 2. (Important to complete before your hire date)
Complete Section 1 of the Form I-9 online - domestic
Complete Section 2, schedule an in-person appointment
Bring original copies of your acceptable documents, employee ID, and your Offer Letter to your scheduled appointment.

Option 1: Individuals working at an ASU location in Arizona can schedule an appointment with an ASU certifier. In-person and virtual appointments available.
Option 2: Individuals outside of Arizona will schedule an I-9 certification appointment through the Equifax Employment Center — link in Workday.
If you are here under an F-1, J-1, H-1B or O-1 visa, you must present a passport, visa, I-94, I-20, DS-2019, I-797 or EAD card.
