Produce high quality engineering graduates equipped with technical skills and technological expertise to meet the changing demands of engineering professions (M1 & M2)
Inculcate a culture of service and involvement with our communities and professions through the spirit of volunteerism and active participation in extension services programs (M2 & M4)
Provide and utilize state-of-the-art facilities to enhance educational services (M3)
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
To offer programs to include Alternative Learning System (ALS) or nonconventional programs that are relevant and compliant with institutional, regulatory, industry and accreditation standards that will develop lifelong learners;
To develop social awareness, responsibility and accountability among stakeholders anchored on instruction, research, and production;
To complement the academic programs with holistic and integrated student services;
To develop a pool of qualified, professional and motivated faculty in the areas of instruction, research and community extension;
To ensure effective administration and supervision of instructional and learning resources in support of the academic programs;
To provide an environment that is safe, functional, and conducive to teaching, learning and working; and
To ensure operations which are collaborative, sustainable, efficient, and effective in meeting the needs of the institution and its stakeholders.

Program Outcomes
By the time of graduation, the students of the program shall have the ability to:
a. apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve Civil engineering problems;
b. design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
c. design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economics, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with standards;
d. function on multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
e. identify, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems;
f. understand professional and ethical responsibility;
g. communicate effectively civil engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large;
h. understand the impact of civil engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and social context;
i. recognize the need for, and engage in life-long learning;
j. know contemporary issues;
k. use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice; and,
l. know and understand engineering and management principles as a member and leader in a team, and to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
