2021 Virtual UA World Service Conference Nov 5-7 and Nov 13-14
The UA World Service Conference Planning Committee (WSCPC) presented UA World Service Conference 2021: Prosperity In Our Global Vision.
This year's conference included various workshops, a Talent Show, and Art Show.
The 15 motions at the conference passed. All motions and conference updates can be viewed at https://www.uawsc.org/business-items/motions
There were 95 full conference attendees including 36 members at large, 48 GSRs (55% of the UA voting body), 10 GSR Alternates, and 1 GSB Committee Chair, in addition to 70 volunteers (tech, hosts, speakers, etc). Practical support was provided by a parliamentarian and recording secretary.

Motion: Suggested Upgraded Qualifications for GSB Trustee Position , seconded, 8
Yays, 0 Nays, 0 Abstentions, motion passes.
● Has completed UA's 12 steps with a UA Sponsor who has done the same in
UA.
● Is currently working with a UA sponsor, is living and models all 12 step
principles and continues to attend UA meetings on a regular basis
● Has a working knowledge of and demonstrate UA 12 Traditions & UA 12
Concepts of World Service and operate within these principles
● Has demonstrated a consistent commitment of service in UA at individual
meeting levels or higher (i.e. GSR, GSB committees, etc.)
● Has one-year solvency.
● Can serve a two-year term
● Communicates cleanly, clearly, and respectfully in all discussions.
● Demonstrates strong collaboration and teamwork skills
● Practices the spiritual principles of humility and willingness in all their affairs
● Willing to do the work necessary to support the functioning of the UA GSB.
Each board member selects and participates (in whatever capacity prudent) on
a committee or special project and completes tasks as needed in that area.
(eg., Traditions, First responder, Tech Committee, Finance committee, PI
committee, Literature committee, SSC, WSC)
● Can commit to doing 10-12 hours a month of service
