About Me

My name is Tyler Price and I am from San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from Smithson Valley High School in 2015, then came to Southern Utah University, for the Aviation program later that year. I am got my Associates Degree in Rotor Wing Aviation and I'm getting my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis Business Management and Psychology. I want to fly a CH-47D Chinook for Billings Flying Service in the fire services. My end goal is to do Helicopter Hog Hunting with my dad, it's where you shoot hogs out of a helicopter. In coming to college I have been a part of Sigma Chi Fraternity and Order of Omega.

I rushed Sigma Chi in Fall 2015. I have sat on multiple communities and held the executive council postion of Risk Management. These position are what gave me the support and courage to run for Proconsul (Vice President). This position has meant more to me than any other, because I get to build strong relationship with each brother while also taking the chapter to new heights.

This project will give me ample opportunity to influence and help others struggling with personal goals in a respectful manner. This project will also benefits my positional goal by giving me the opportunity to apply a tiered reporting system to better our chapter, and my personal and career goals by giving me the leadership experience as a team leader. In the firefighting industry teamwork/coordination is absolutely imperative.
