On Track Requirements:
-Wrist Band -SFI Neck brace (Gokart style OK)
-Full face DOT/ or SNELL Helmet (eye pro required at all times)
-Full finger gloves -No exposed skin (long sleeves, full pants, closed toe shoes)
Be a Gentleman, on track and off
Race director, flaggers, and drivers awareness -
O Safe Passing ONLY
- in manner that does not require other drivers to avoid a collision
- only on straight / designated area (mark no passing zones)
O High Side Rollover
- Greatest risk of severe injury -No Side slide / over steer
- Off track / Curb strike
O Contact
- Great risk of injury -Rear ending (no brake lights)
- Wheel to wheel contact (can cause rollover)
O Break downs / Accidents
- If it’s YOU, Get off track (SAFELY) - Do not remove helmet
- First on scene actions (MEDIC) - Medical assistance
O Black Flag – Take Pit Road and see Race Director
- SELF REPORT for ANY Safety violations, see Race Director
- If you are flagged, something was observed (No hard feelings)
- Driving vs mechanical
-Kill Engine and take directions, BPT to return to track / Depending on the offense - Aree to corrective measures, and go back out (Don’t do it again)

Racers Agreement
You understand racing is inherently dangerous and may result in serious injury or death.
You understand this event is about having fun and staying safe, above all else.
You understand Gentleman's racing rules.
You understand you must read & sign a hold harmless / liability waiver for this event (26-27 OctoberFESTival of Speed).
Tech inspection checklist:
Resembles a pre-war race car
GX200 clone (stage 1 mods)
TAV transmission
17x1.5 motorcycle wheels
39” track width
Built by owner/driver
Functioning brakes
Spokes tight and present
Kill switch on dash
Rear axle lock collars (x10, holding in keys, bracing against bearings, etc)
Chains and spinny things are shielded in a safe manner
Exceptions to this checklist is at organizers discretion
Driver requirements:
Valid drivers license
One piece full face helmet DOT or Snell (no modular’s. DOT within 10yrs)
SFI rated neck brace
Gloves, long sleeves, pants (no exposed skin – try to be period correct!)
Waiver / hold harmless agreement (driver, crew, and guest requirement)
Acknowledge safety requirements (drivers wristband, no starting CKs without safety tether or without the driver operating the brake, no unsafe acts, etc)
Drivers will get a wrist band after attending mandatory safety briefing and event orientation. CKs will not be operated at any time by anyone without a wristband
Driver changes occur OFF TRACK in Pit area - DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CK ON TRACK
Black Flag for anything observed to be unsafe by the event staff
