Drivers Meeting - requirement for operating a vehicle on the track. Drivers will receive a wrist band after class completed, all waivers signed, $100 fee paid.   [ALL drivers must attend in main classroom, don't attend, no wristband / no driving on track] (must attend) [H2R led- pay race fee $100, sign waiver(s), receive safety class and track orientation, remind folks this is a gentleman's event and it’s for fun]

Open Track Session 

After parade laps, full PPE. Drivers make laps to get a feel for getting around the course safely.  Safety crew will be watching, self-black flag requirement for any safety violation (2 wheels, off-track, contact, etc).

Hill Climb -  This is for the CK racers to run Full Steam with the whole track to themselves.

[race down front stretch around T1 and up the hill, finish line at the top of the hill. Individually run and timed, the only “hard” racing of the day. Starter talks to finish line on radio to confirm ready, calls start so finish line can run the clock, finish line calls time to starter to be recorded. CKs can continue around to go again (SAFELY) while time allows, driver swaps, adjustments, etc. This event should be easy to spectate and take pictures. Racing APP for timing TRACK ADDICT]

All CKs ON TRACK for PARADE lap 2, A chance for teams with multiple drivers to get an on track no-helmet photo

Race Event 

- 2.4hrs of H2R! 

1.2hr (72 minutes) going clockwise (starting grid determined from Hill Climb times, slowest to fastest)

a ten minute break

- 1.2hr (72 minutes)  counterclockwise (starting grid filled by CKs as fast as they can get out of the pits)

1.82mile long track, 28 laps = 50 miles! 

2024 CKOctFoS 2.4hr winner Mike C went 48 laps for over 87 miles

(Gentleman's rules for safety. It’s a WIN just to run long and finish without breaking.)
