Maxwell Leadership Foundation will host informational sessions prior to each semester to share iLead with new school's catalysts and champions. Renewing schools and educators are welcome as well. This is a great opportunity to explore and learn how iLead can become a part of developing your students' leadership skills using John C. Maxwell's student led values based leadership lessons! Please join us in growing a generation of young leaders who create Powerful Positive Change.
Joining iLead in your state is easy. If your school or organization is new to iLead, an intake form and an enrollment form will need to be completed and submitted by the iLead Catalyst (catalyzer of iLead). If you are a renewing school or organization, the iLead Catalyst or Champion (lead or administration) can skip the intake and enroll for a semester. Either way, each school or organization will need to enroll to participate in iLead each semester.
When newly beginning the process of participating in iLead Student Leadership Transformation, each school or organization's iLead Catalyst will submit an intake form using the "Click Here for Intake Form" feature below. Once a completed intake is submitted, the iLead Catalyst or Champion will receive confirmation, enabling them to enroll the school or organization in an upcoming semester of the Texas ESC's iLead Initiative.
Each semester, each school or organization will submit an enrollment form to enroll in an upcoming semester of iLead Student Leadership Transformation using the "Click Here for Fall 24 Enrollment" button below. If your school or organization is new to iLead, after completing the enrollment form, the iLead Champion will register for Training where they will be equipped to train educators and other adult sponsors to implement iLead.
The Maxwell Leadership Foundation asks each school or organization to collaborate in iLead by providing certain metrics each semester of participation. Student personal information is never collected or used without express permission. The metrics allow for the assessment of additional support, inform Maxwell Leadership Foundation's continuous measures for improvement and enable the sharing of your school or organization's iLead impact.
Required Pre and Post Surveys (6-12 grades only)
Students should complete the pre-survey for the respective iLead Unit prior to beginning any lessons. Plan to give the pre-unit survey during the first session each semester that you participate in iLead. Post surveys should be administered before the end of the semester or after the completion of an iLead Unit. Links to the pre- and post-surveys for each iLead Unit, can be found on the iLead Units tab and/or the iLead XLR8 tab.
Suggested Pacing
The program will run for 8-12 weeks each semester depending on the unit your students participate in; see grade level tabs and refer to the section labeled "Launch" for specific unit pacing.
iLead Mid-Point Collaboration
The Maxwell Leadership Foundation will host collaborative meetings to offer support to sponsors and receive feedback regarding the iLead programming. iLead sponsors/educators should register for and attend at least one of the Collaboration Sessions that correspond with the semester of their implementation. Please refer to the Collaboration Sessions tab for more information and to register.
