These Terms of Use govern your use of the Twinread app for iPhone and iPad ("Twinread", "the app"). By downloading or using Twinread, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which applies to the app. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails for matters it covers.
Twinread lets you read books and texts in two languages, look up and save words and review them. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the content you import: only import books and texts you have the right to use. Twinread does not remove DRM and does not provide copyrighted books; free classics come from public domain sources such as Project Gutenberg, which are not affiliated with Twinread.
Translations are generated automatically on your device by Apple's Translation framework. They may contain errors and are provided for reading and learning only. Do not rely on them for legal, medical or other professional purposes.
Twinread is free to download. Twinread Pro is offered as two auto-renewable subscriptions: Weekly, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, and Yearly. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy, in your local currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you start one.
Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
All payments are handled by Apple. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com; Apple decides according to its policies. When you ask Apple for a refund, information about how you used your subscription (for example whether you used the premium content and for how long) may be shared with Apple so that Apple can process your request. By using the app, you agree to this sharing.
The app, its design, text, illustrations and code belong to the developer and are licensed to you, not sold, under the Standard EULA. Books and texts you import remain the property of their owners.
We work to keep Twinread reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some features depend on Apple services (Translation, iCloud) and on your iOS version; translation requires iOS 18 or later. We may update, change or remove features. We may update these Terms and will post the new version on this page with a new date.
Twinread is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country.
You may stop using Twinread at any time by deleting the app. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you do not follow them.
