Pottery Workshops @Twin Barn Shepherd's Huts

Following the opening of my home pottery studio we are offering guests the option of two experiences to enjoy during their stay.

1) A 1:1 or 1:2 session exploring clay and learning how to make coil pots and to throw a pot on the wheel. Once dry I will trim, fire and glaze your pots and send them to you. £45 for one person/ £60 for two. This session will last about an hour/hour and a half.

2) Using pots I have thrown, burnished and bisque fired you can choose and add organic materials to your chosen pots and help build a barrel fire to fire them. The following morning you can clean, seal and wax your pots to take home with you. (Barrel fired pots remain porous an45are not good safe) £20 per p45
