Pottery Workshops @Twin Barn Shepherd's Huts

Following the opening of my home pottery studio we are offering guests two experiences to enjoy during their stay.

1) A 1:1 or 1:2 session exploring clay and learning how to make coil pots and to throw a pot on the wheel. Once dry I will trim, fire and glaze your pots and send them to you. £30 for one person/ £45 for two. This session will last about an hour/hour and a half.

2) Using pots I have thrown, burnished and bisque fired you can choose and add organic materials to your chosen pots and help build a barrel fire to fire them. The following morning you can clean, seal and wax your pots to take home with you. (Barrel fired pots remain porous and are not good safe) £15 per pot.
