WHAT IS TOTS?

TOTS is an acronym standing for 'Tutor of the Semester'.

Tutors are chosen to be a TOTS student based on several factors. The first and most important factor is what kind of tutor the student has shown themself to be. Generally, tutors should display not only academic competence*, but good character that allows them to properly tutor their assigned student. The second factor that will be taken into account is the seniority of the tutor. This seniority is completely based on how long the tutor has consecutively been with Tutoring by Two.
