TurkWorld: Learn Turkish

TurkWorld: Learn Turkish (“TurkWorld,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Turkish language-learning application designed to help users learn Turkish vocabulary, phrases, pronunciation, flashcards, quizzes, conversations, stories, and Medical Turkish.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Overview
TurkWorld is designed to work primarily offline.
The App does not require users to create an account, register, or sign in. We do not operate our own user account system, and we do not collect, store, sell, or transmit users’ personal learning data to our own servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask users to provide:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Physical address
Precise location
Personal identification documents
Health information
Photos, videos, or contacts
We do not track users for advertising purposes.
3. Local App Data
Some information may be stored locally on the user’s device to improve the learning experience. This may include:
Saved or favorite words
App language preference
Theme preference
Learning progress
Quiz progress or quiz results stored locally
Premium access status after a successful Google Play purchase or restore
Dismissed in-app announcements, if available
This information remains on the user’s device and is not uploaded to our own servers.
Users may remove local app data by clearing the App data from their device settings or uninstalling the App.
4. Premium Purchases
TurkWorld may offer premium access through Google Play using either:
A monthly subscription plan that renews automatically unless canceled through Google Play; or
A one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks premium content permanently, subject to Google Play account eligibility and applicable store policies.
All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store users’ payment card details, bank information, billing credentials, or Google account password.
Google Play may provide the App with purchase status information, subscription status, or a purchase confirmation token so that premium access can be unlocked, restored, renewed, or verified on the user’s device.
For monthly subscriptions, Google Play manages billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with its policies. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Google Play account settings.
For one-time purchases, premium access may be restored on eligible devices using the same Google account used for the original purchase, subject to Google Play’s restoration and licensing policies.
After a successful purchase, subscription activation, or restore, the App may store premium access status locally on the device to allow offline access to unlocked content. When internet access is available, the App may use Google Play services to validate, renew, or restore purchase status.
Payment processing and purchase management are handled by Google and are subject to Google Play’s own terms and privacy practices.
5. Audio, Pronunciation, and Text-to-Speech
TurkWorld includes local audio files for some words, phrases, conversations, or stories.
The App may also use the device’s built-in text-to-speech functionality to help users hear Turkish pronunciation or story text. Depending on the user’s device and settings, text-to-speech may be provided by Google, the device manufacturer, or another installed speech engine. Their own privacy practices may apply.
TurkWorld does not upload users’ learning activity to our own servers for pronunciation or audio playback.
6. Clipboard and Copy Feature
The App may allow users to copy visible words or phrases by long pressing on them.
When a user chooses to copy text, the selected visible text is placed on the device clipboard. TurkWorld does not use this feature to collect or transmit clipboard content to our own servers.
Users should avoid copying sensitive personal information into any app clipboard.
7. Internet Permission
The App may request internet access for limited functions, including:
Validating or restoring Google Play purchases
Opening Google Play, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Support, or other external links in a browser
Opening the app’s Google Play page when the user chooses to rate the App
Compatibility with standard Android and Google Play services
The App does not use internet access to upload users’ personal learning activity to our own servers.
8. Firebase Analytics and Crash Reporting
TurkWorld may use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the learning experience. This may include events such as app opens, premium screen views, quiz starts, story opens, word bank usage, medical section opens, and similar app interaction events.
TurkWorld may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, diagnostics, device information, and app performance data. This helps us detect crashes, fix bugs, improve stability, and understand technical problems affecting the App.
Firebase may process certain technical identifiers, such as device or app installation identifiers, for analytics, diagnostics, and app performance purposes.
We do not use Firebase to collect users’ names, emails, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, health records, or payment card details. We do not use Firebase data for advertising targeting.
9. App Links and External Websites
The App may include links to external pages such as:

Support page
Google Play listing
Rate the App page
When users open external links, they may leave the App and interact with third-party services such as Google Play or a web browser. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Children
TurkWorld is intended for general educational use.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through support communication, please contact us so that we can address the issue.
11. Data Sharing
We do not sell users’ personal data.
We do not share users’ personal learning data with advertisers, data brokers, or external marketing companies.
TurkWorld may use trusted service providers, including Google Play and Firebase, to support app functionality, purchase processing, analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, and app performance monitoring. These services process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Google Play processes purchase-related information when users make, renew, cancel, or restore subscriptions or one-time purchases.
Firebase may process app interaction data, crash logs, diagnostics, device information, and app installation identifiers to help us understand app usage and improve stability.
We do not provide Firebase or Google with users’ health records, personal medical information, contacts, photos, messages, or payment card details.
12. Data Security
TurkWorld does not operate its own user account system and does not store personal learning data on our own servers.
Most learning activity remains locally on the user’s device. Some technical data may be processed by Google Play or Firebase for purchase verification, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and app performance monitoring.
Data transmitted to Google Play or Firebase is handled according to Google’s security and privacy practices. Firebase services use secure connections for data transmission.
Users may remove local app data by clearing the App data from device settings or uninstalling the App.

13. Copyright and App Misuse
TurkWorld is provided for personal learning use only.
Unauthorized sharing, redistribution, or distribution of the TurkWorld app is strictly prohibited.
Any attempt to bypass payment, licensing, or premium access systems is not allowed.
All rights are reserved by TurkWorld and its owner.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
