These continuous straight lines help you fold the paper. Not meant to be cut.
Tear along these dotted line perforations to save time on cutting.
1
Open your TuneJoy Hula Bunny lantern kit
Flip the craft cardstock to the white side to see the folding and perforated lines.
Carefully take all the lantern parts out along the perforated lines. Use the stick (included in kit) to help take out smaller parts.
2 small circles make up the bunny's head, and 12 ovals make up the bunny body.
2
With the white side of both small circles facing you, glue the ears on one circle. Draw the bunny's face on the other circle.
Fold the included string in half and lay it in the middle of the circle between the ears. Leave enough above the forehead past the tip of the ears. Your string might have the tassel/pendant already.
Pull the string taut, glue the small circles together, both white sides facing you, so now the ears and string are sandwiched bewteen the small circles.
3
The bunny's body is made with the ovals.
Fold each oval in half along the scoring line, white side facing out
Lay the folded half ovals on a table, use your nails, a spoon, or something hard to scrape along the straight folded edge, so the folds become tight.
4
Add glue to the white side of half an oval. USE GLUE STICK.
Add another oval on the glued face. Line up the flat edge and sides of the ovals.
Keep gluing on ovals until you glued half (6) of the ovals together.
Repeat these steps for the other 6 ovals.
Now you have two halves of the bunny body.
5
Flip the bodies so the white sides face you.
Glue the completed bunny head, with string already in, on one half of the body.
Smooth out the string to be in the center of the body. While pulling the string taut, Glue the other body on, align the ovals, white on white.
Press and pinch around the string to secure.
Finally, spread out the leafs of the body evenly.
