I’ve dabbled a bit in poetry, animation, first-order logic, and computing and now I work for HostJane, a startup marketplace platform for web freelancers.
I believe in the good that business, both big & small, can do in people's lives in making our shared world a fairer, kinder place for all of us.
This includes advocacy to end both gender discrimination against women and racial violence against people outside of my own biracial space.
This concern motivated me to petition the French Government outside their embassy in Brisbane to address the senseless killing of Dr. Sarah Halimi, an innocent French woman who was horrifically murdered in France for being Jewish.
One of my firmest beliefs (that I am often gaslighted, attacked & ridiculed by men from all racial backgrounds about) is my belief that if Jane Doe had truly equal rights to men, many of the problems that society faces would simply not exist.
After having my identity stolen in 2016, I got interested in security and helping people protect themselves on this amazing, sometimes scary place called the internet. I have a Queensland security license and I like to keep it up-to-date.
I helped HostJane offer two-factor authentication for all our users. If you sign up on HostJane to sell a skill you’re good at, I encourage you to activate two-factor on your account with us, and anywhere else you are online. Two-factor can protect all your devices & save a lot of drama. If like me you love working outside on public WiFi networks, you can stay safe.
It's impossible to stay indoors in Australia ❤️.
