A new book by Talia

This is a book written and illustrated by Talia when she was 5. I only helped her with spelling. Enjoy!

Once upon a time there was a little old man and a little old woman.*

*please note that they are standing in front of an oven

Suddenly the Gingerbread Man jumped out of the oven and ran away!

(This is the author's favorite page. Note the look of surprise on the faces)

Then the Gingerbread Man passed a kid leaving a candy trail behind*

*the author was very meticulous about detail. Gingerbread Man will leave a candy trail in every illustration.

Then the Gingerbread Man passed a walrus*

*it's in pink in case you missed it!

and then the Gingerbread Man passed a princess*

*the author points out that the upper right window of the castle is the treasure room

and then the Gingerbread Man passed a pig

then the Gingerbread Man slid down the path

The Gingerbread Man stopped and blew bubbles

Now he's home!
