Provide training in state of the art statistical and research methods in a series of brief, affordable workshops for trainees (students and post-docs) and professionals (faculty and industry).

Our offerings vary from year to year, but have included Instrument Development, Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling, Longitudinal Structural Equation Modeling, SMART Clinical Trial Designs, coding in the statistical language R, Machine Learning for Behavioral Scientists, Designing Ambulatory Assessment Studies, and Multilevel Modeling for Longitudinal Data.

TTU Groundwork

Groundwork is a face-to-face, 2 ½ day program of workshops, discussions, readings, and hands-on micro-teaching activities. Participants in Groundwork will be exposed to the fundamentals of college teaching such as syllabus and student learning outcome creation, classroom management, active learning, and other strategies for engaging students. Trainings offered twice a year.

Applications are due end of November and April each year.

TEACH fellows receive additional training in teaching through observations and collaborations across multiple disciplines. TEACH fellows also receive a $250 stipend for both the Fall and Spring semesters.
