Garden of the Gods

The Garden of the Gods park is a Great Place to visit for a couple hours. The Garden of the Gods was donated to the City of Colorado Springs on the condition that it always remain free to the public. It has a nice visitor center with a balcony where one can look over the Rock Garden with Pikes Peak in the background. One of the best over looks is above the visitor center on Mesa Road at the Mesa Overlook. (https://gardenofgods.com)

From the visitors center, one can drive a loop around the main parts of the rock formation and many park and visit the “central garden”. See if you can see the “kissing camels” as you drive the around the loop.
