The mission of Truman Primary's Comprehensive Counseling Program is "to help all of our students reach their fullest potential." The Truman Primary counseling program is aimed at helping students succeed. We know that basic needs have to be met before students are ready to learn. If you need to be connected to any community resources that assist with food, clothing, shelter, or school supplies, please let me know!

We are the home of the Trailblazers and strive daily to demonstrate our SPARK--Safe, Positive, and Respectful Kids!

Truman Primary uses Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to help students succeed in a positive and caring environment.

Vision Statement

The students of Truman Primary are motivated learners who are on track to graduate high school. All students will have the ability to believe in themselves and use their strengths to make the world a better place. Students will be supported by a comprehensive school counseling program that supports students in their academic, career, and social-emotional development. Students will know how to be positive advocates for themselves and respect others.
